The book effectively combines findings from neurological and scientific studies with psychological theories and considers the historical development of humans and music from a sociological perspective. In essence, the book discusses specific psychological components that are significant for the development of musical talent and proposes a theoretical model on this basis. Ideas for pedagogy are provided on the basis of the model.
